Reminders do not arrive

• Settings → Reminders → allow notifications.
• For alarm-style reminders, allow "exact alarms" on the same screen.
• Many phones (Xiaomi, Samsung, Huawei, Oppo) stop background apps to save battery. Settings → Reminders → Battery, then allow Orbiday to run in the background.
• Use "Send a test reminder" to check the whole chain in about ten seconds.

My shifts are not in Google Calendar

• Settings → Calendar sync → add to calendar, then pick a calendar that belongs to your Google account. Calendars marked "this phone only" never leave the phone.
• A calendar file (.ics) from Reports is meant for a computer, Outlook or Apple Calendar; the Google Calendar app on a phone cannot import it.
• Automatic calendar sync is part of Pro. It is free to unlock while Orbiday is in early access.

New phone, or I lost my data

• On the old phone: Settings → Back up to a file, and save the JSON file somewhere you will find it.
• On the new phone: Settings → Restore from a file. Orbiday shows what the file contains before replacing anything, and keeps a snapshot of the previous data so you can undo.
• If the app ever fails to read its own data, it never overwrites it: a recovery file appears in Settings so the raw data can be saved.

The pay estimate looks wrong

• Reports → "How each estimate is calculated" shows every shift's own line: regular minutes × rate × multiplier, overtime, extra pay.
• Check the job's unpaid break, daily overtime threshold and pay-period start date.
• Estimates use the rates you enter. They are not a payslip and contain no tax or social-security calculation.

Deleting everything

Android Settings → Apps → Orbiday → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the app. Exported files and events written into another calendar are deleted separately.
